Brittany and Jordan both grew up in a beachside town in New Jersey where they met at a donut shop. OK, not really at a donut shop, but they did both love donuts! Jordan enjoyed walking to Frank’s diner to get one (or two, or three) freshly baked Boston Cream donuts. In middle school, Brittany was known for always bringing a huge box of fresh donuts to every sleepover.

Years later, when they both moved to California their love for donuts grew. Brittany lived next to Primo’s Donuts - rated the best donut shop in Los Angeles by the LA Times and Food Insider. Jordan’s donut connoisseurship led him to trying dozens of shops along the California coast in search of donut excellence.

Before moving to Chapel Hill, Brittany was diagnosed with Celiac Disease causing her to remove wheat from her diet. After failing to find hardly any truly great Gluten Free donuts, she decided to create her own! Because of that Chapel Donuts now has excellent Gluten Free and Vegan donuts that are as close to the “real thing” as you can find! We understand allergies and do all we can to keep our kitchen as safe as possible to avoid cross contamination.

Though Jordan and Brittany have found some great donut shops throughout North Carolina - there aren’t any in Chapel Hill! With a love for donuts and a deep desire to invest in their community, Jordan and Brittany launched Chapel Donuts where everyone can find a delicious treat for them. Donut you worry!
